About Herbal Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a TCM therapy that uses moxa, made from dried mugwort, to warm specific points or areas. It is often combined with other TCM treatments and is known for its comforting, deep warmth.
Sessions are available for 30 minutes (AED 180) or 60 minutes (AED 360).
What the treatment involves
Moxa is lit and held just above the skin, or placed in a holder or box so the warmth spreads over an area. Your therapist watches the heat closely and adjusts the distance so it stays comfortable.
Moxa produces a distinctive herbal smell and some smoke.
